Medina
A small city on the Lake Washington shore between the 520 bridge and Bellevue.
Medina is small, leafy and mostly residential, with large lots and long stretches of private waterfront.
The shoreline faces west across the lake to Seattle. Inland lots are wooded and quiet; the streets are narrow and there is little through traffic.
There is a small city hall and a beach park on the water.
What to look at in a house here
- Lot size and setbacks: the city's building rules are detailed
- Frontage, and whether the shoreline is natural or bulkheaded
- Privacy from the lake side as well as the street
Schools
Medina is served by the Bellevue School District. Check boundaries with the district directly; they change.
